Charlotte Norman
Director
Co-founder and director of AREA, Charlotte Norman is a chartered landscape architect with over 25 years of experience in design for large-scale housing, arts, education and healthcare projects, as well as initiatives of all scales in urban, rural and coastal settings to improve accessibility, quality and opportunities for outdoor play, recreation and contact with nature in public and community spaces.
Charlotte manages the AREA team and studio, taking a planning and review role in all projects. She is a Essex Quality Review Panel member and an Expert for the government’s High Streets Task Force.
